POPULAR MOMBASA COASTAL EXCURSIONS


1.HALF DAY TOUR OF MOMBASA: 
The tour offers you one of the best ways to see Mombasa and what this historic and multi- cultural Centre has to offer.  Our experienced guide will show you the following places of interest:

·      The majestic famous Elephant Tusk Archway.
·      Fragrant Spice Shops & Stalls
·      The bustle of Mackinnon Fruit & Vegetable Market.
·      The historic Portuguese Fortress ‘Fort Jesus’

2.  FULL DAY TOUR OF MOMBASA:
Chance to visit all the exciting and historic places in Mombasa with our own experienced guide.  On this full day tour you will also get a chance to see:
·      Akamba Woodcarvers Co – operative.
·      The majestic famous Elephant Tusk Archway and the historic Portuguese Fortress ‘Fort Jesus’.
·      The bustle of Mackinnon Fruit & Vegetable Market and the surrounding fragrant spice shops & stalls
·      Mombasa’s Old Town & Historic Dhow Port.
The Afternoon sector has various options:-
a)    Lunch on the Tamarind Dhow and Haller Park
·      This busy morning will be followed by a delicious seafood lunch on the Tamarind Dhow/Restaurant
·      The day comes to a close with a visit to Haller Park where you will have chance to see the feeding of the two enormous Hippopotamuses, giraffes  among many other animals.

4.  CORAL SPIRIT – WASINI & KISITE MARINE PARK.

6. TAMARIND DHOW EVENING CRUISE: Welcome aboard one of the East Africa’s experiences. Tamarind Dhow is situated in the North Coast, 8kms from North Coast Hotels & 40km from Diani. You will be met by traditional dressed waiters, and show to your table. You will be served with a “Dawa” – the famous Tamarind Cocktail made from Vodka, Lime, and Honey & crushed Ice. As the dhow sails gently away the resident bad starts to play. You will cruise around the Tudor Creek with fine views of Mombasa’s Old Town & Fort Jesus. Your Dhow will then moor in a sheltered bay & you can watch the chef prepare his grilled lobster, prawns & steak on a flaming charcoal grill. Enjoy your 4-course seafood dinner.  After Dinner, the band moves into full swing, playing a variety of popular songs... they will soon have you dancing........................ Back at the jetty by 2230hrs.
